Mark SievewrightMark is a highly respected industry thought-leader and a renowned public speaker who has held senior leadership positions at HSBC, MasterCard International, Payment Systems Inc. (where he served as CEO), TowerGroup (where he served as CEO), and Fiserv (where, until March 2017, he served as Vice Chairman and president of the company’s Credit Union Solutions division). At Fiserv, Mark and his team of 1,500 associates supported the technology needs of more than one-third of America’s credit unions.
 
In April, 2017, Mark launched a new research and consulting venture - Sievewright & Associates - focused on providing credit unions with strategic insights and trusted advice.
 
Since 1999, Mark has worked directly with numerous credit unions in the successful formulation and execution of their strategic plans. He has spoken at more than 250 credit union events and is the recipient of a number of industry awards. In 2010, Mark was merited the Ambassador Award by the World Council of Credit Unions (WOCCU) for helping credit unions better understand and capitalize on their market strengths; and, in 2015, he finished runner-up in Credit Union Times 25th anniversary contest to find the most influential leader in the credit union movement since 1990.

John is the founder and CEO of the financial technology firm Best Innovation Group (BIG), which focuses on industry-wide code sharing and API prototype development. John and his teammates at BIG, in partnership with CUNA and the Mountain West Credit Union Association, launched the CULedger network, a groundbreaking collaborative initiative harnessing the power of distributed ledger (blockchain) technology for the benefit of the credit union movement. Prior to going BIG, John spent over a decade at Wescom Credit Union and Wescom Resources Group, serving as Chief Technology Officer and Senior Vice President.

Paul's background includes experience in financial services, energy, manufacturing and technology. Recipient of numerous sales and leadership awards, Paul has been an active member of several industry and business organizations including The Authentic Leadership Project, The Data Warehouse Institute, and the Richard Ivey School of Business. He earned an honors business administration degree from the University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario. AJ AcitelliAngelo is a 30-year payments professional who has held lead technical and executive roles in development, architecture, sales, and solutions management across the industry. A.J. began his career in operating system development with IBM in Endicott, NY, and later transferred to the IBM Charlotte Payments Solutions group in Charlotte, NC. Mike AtkinsMike Atkins has been in the credit union industry for over 25 years, and has served as Bellco Credit Union's CIO since 2001. In that capacity, Mike helped create, and currently serves as CEO of, Open Technology Solutions, a multi-credit union CUSO formed to provide a comprehensive suite of collaborative technology solutions for its partner credit unions. Mike serves on various industry boards and advisory groups, including the National Association of Credit Union Service Organizations (NACUSO), the CUNA Technology Council Executive Committee, the CUFX governance committee, and various advisory groups related to the Fiserv DNA core platform. Prior to joining Bellco, he served as Interim President and Chief Operating Officer for a financial services solution provider offering home banking and electronic bill payment products. In addition, Mike was founder and president of an independent consultancy, where he assisted credit unions for over twelve years in business planning, technology planning, software selection and technology implementations. He also served as a senior practitioner with Deloitte Consulting for ten years, managing business and technology projects for financial services companies.

Jerry BeasleyJerry is a veteran information technology and security specialist with over 30 years in the industry. Jerry previously managed information technology resources and developed information technology solutions for the United States Air Force. Later, he consulted for the Department of Defense as a Senior Information Assurance Analyst. Jerry has had a career concentration in Information Assurance (IA) Management with emphasis on Information Security controls, federal regulatory compliance, as well as system/software risk assessment. As an expert consultant in risk management, Jerry pioneered development of asset-based risk assessment methodology aligned with the NIST Cybersecurity Framework. He currently performs penetration testing, security and risk assessments, and compliance audits for clients in financial services and other industries. He is a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) with the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA) and holds a degree in Management of Information Systems. Jerry regularly contributes industry articles, whitepapers, and training presentations for both clients and the cybersecurity community.

Ryan BrogranRyan works on an array of client engagements spanning Cornerstone's practice areas with a primary focus on performance assessment and enhancement initiatives. Gene FredriksenGene is responsible for the development information protection and technology risk programs for the company. Gene has over twenty-five years of Information Technology experience, with the last twenty focused specifically in the area of Information Security. In this capacity, he has been heavily involved with all areas of Audit and Security. He served as the Chair of the Security and Risk Assessment Steering Committee for BITS, as well as serving on the R&D committee for the Financial Services Sector Steering Committee of the Department of Homeland Security. He also served as an advisor on various cyber security steering committees for the administration of George W. Bush and Bill Clinton, assisting in the preparation of the president’s Cyber Security Position Paper.
 
Gene is a member of the SC Magazine Editorial Advisory Board. He published numerous papers and books, and is a frequent speaker before audit and security audiences, and has served as Chair of the St. Petersburg College Information Security Advisory Board. He is a member of multiple advisory boards for universities, organizations, and security product companies. Gene maintains a close working relationship with both local and federal law enforcement agencies.

Melanie joined CUNA Mutual Group in 2001 as an account relationship manager, based in Maine. In 2003, she relocated to Massachusetts and over the next 10 years held various field roles including sales manager for lending protection, sales executive for the eastern region and account consultant manager for National Accounts. In 2013, she moved to the Madison area to work in Sales Planning, where she held the role of director. Throughout her CUNA Mutual Group career, Melanie has attended President’s Council in 2003 and has been nominated twice for the Excellence in Leadership Award within the Sales Organization. She currently serves as the co-chair for the Women’s Leadership Network employee resource group within CUNA Mutual Group.
 
Melanie graduated from the University of Maine with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance. She obtained a master’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in management from Thomas College. She is a CUNA Management School graduate.

Steve Langley, SVP/CRO

Steve LangleySteve has been part of the credit union movement for over 25 years. He currently is responsible for the oversight of all retail business to include Branches, Call Centers, Special Services, Investment and Insurance Services, Facilities and Member Services Support. In this capacity he is responsible for the daily operations as well as the strategic direction for growing all lines of business.
 
Steve is the former chair of the CUNA Operations, Sales and Service Executive Committee and a member of the CUNA Executive Council. He currently services on the CUNA Creating Awareness Committee. He was recently appointed as the Honorary Vice Wing Commander at Travis Air Force Base where he will serve over the next year. He has a bachelor’s degree in education from Southern Illinois University and a Master of Arts degree in organizational leadership and human resources from Chapman University. Steve is also a 2003 honors graduate from the Western CUNA Management School and has served on the faculty of Chapman University.

Within management he has held the position of CFO, Branch Manager, and Vice President of Lending at Credit Unions in Georgia. Over the last 15 years he has been the President/CEO of Credit Unions in California, Georgia, and Alabama with asset sizes ranging from $32 million to $1.2 billion. He has had a track record of both success and growth by modernizing organizations through improved technology and streamlining processes for efficiency. Bobby was on the board of a data processing CUSO for several years and the organization he currently leads is currently completing a core conversion. In addition, he has recently completed several key hires for Information Technology positions.

Charlotte Morrison, CIO

Charlotte MorrisonCharlotte’s been the CIO at Texans Credit Union since April 2012. She is fortunate to lead a team of professionals who manage their: Infrastructure, Security, Project Management, IT Support (core and all ancillary systems), Service Desk and Operations. Charlotte have over 30 years of financial industry experience spanning community banks, credit unions, consulting and financial industry vendors.
 
Charlotte began her career on the retail side of the business as a Branch Manager and Regional coordinator and progressed into Information Technology management at a 500M Savings Bank. Charlotte’s next career move was VP of IT at a 1.2B Savings Bank. She then managed her own consulting business for 5 years assisting community banks and credit unions through the due diligence process of choosing new core vendors, managing core conversions and process improvements. Before joining Texans Credit Union she was a Director for Harland Financial Solutions (now D&H) leading one of their core systems, supporting the technology needs of over 120 financial institutions.

Ryan Myers, Director

Ryan MyersRyan has over 12 years of experience working in the financial services industry with an emphasis on analytics, process improvement and call center management. Over the course of his career, he has developed strategic visions and translated them to tactical plans for large teams while employing talent development techniques for individuals.
 
Prior to joining Cornerstone, Ryan held a variety of positions at Bank of America ranging from customer segmentation strategies to systems design and integration. He had responsibility for all collections strategies on a multi-billion dollar Small Business portfolio and managed teams tasked with maximizing the return on array of channel campaigns. Ryan also led efforts to identify large scale process improvements, technical developments and post-implementation measurement and control.
 
Ryan holds a master’s degree in business administration and a Master of Science Degree in Information Management from Arizona State University in Tempe, Ariz. He also holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science with a concentration in Software Engineering from Arizona State University.

Prior to joining Alliant, Bill has held various roles with global organizations, serving as, IT Security Director, IT Director, IT Manager, Security Architect and Systems Engineer. Bill earned his MBA from the University of Illinois and Bachelors in IT Management from Lewis University. He holds several industry certifications, including the ISACA Certified Information Security Manager (CISM).

Kim has spent over 14 years in the financial services industry, holding various leadership roles. She joined Alliant in 2010 and is responsible for the overall leadership of the credit union’s Branch network. Alliant has 12 Branches in 5 states. Prior to Alliant, Kim held the position of branch manager, VP at Bank One/Chase.

Michael RaibickMichael leads teams in the areas of cybersecurity maturity assessments, penetration testing, and infrastructure security reviews. He currently leads Crowe’s service line in the area of the FFIEC Cybersecurity Assessment Tool, performing implementations as well as validation assessments.
 
Michael has spoken at security conferences, including BSides, as well as other events focused on cybersecurity maturity models in the financial industry. He holds a BS in Software Engineering from the University of Texas at Dallas.

Kevin oversees the credit union’s Financial Service Centers (branches), Financial Advisory Center (Call Center) and eServices department. His goal is to deliver Inspired Financial Service across all channels. FedChoice FCU has $375 million in assets, 24,000 members and is open to all Federal civilian employees, contractors and their families in a 40-county area from northern Virginia to southern New Jersey, including the metropolitan areas of Washington, D.C., Baltimore and Philadelphia. Prior to his current position, he was the Marketing Director at FedChoice FCU and Vice President of Marketing at Securityplus FCU in Baltimore. He holds an MBA from Loyola University in Baltimore and a BS in Communications from Boston University. He has been member of the CUNA Operations & Member Experience Council for eight years and currently serves on the Membership and Conference Committees. He is also Co-Chair of the 2017 annual CUNA Operations & Member Experience Council conference.

Prior to his current position, Chris spent nearly a decade at Gonzaga University in various leadership roles, mostly recently as an Associate Director, directing a University Center’s leadership development efforts, operations, marketing, communications and fundraising. He also served as an adjunct faculty member in the School of Business. Dean currently sits on the board for the National Association of Credit Union Service Organizations.
