SBA’s 7(a) Loan Program: Delivering credit union member satisfaction and helping you manage commercial lending regulation
The SBA’s 7(a) Loan Program can be used for nearly all business purposes. These loans can be up to $5 million for start-up or existing businesses and are beneficial for customers with insufficient collateral for conventional financing. For 7(a) loans, the SBA provides an 85% guaranty for loans of $150,000 or less and a 75% guaranty for loans from $150,001 to $5 million. In addition, the guaranteed portion on an SBA-backed loan does not count towards a credit union’s member business loan cap. During this webinar, Dianna Seaborn, Acting Director of the Office of Financial Assistance, will highlight how to process your first loan and the continued loan servicing requirements.
Speaker: Michelle Genovese, Lender Relations Specialist, Small Business Administration
