Financial Statements & Key Ratios – Critical Concepts for HR & Organizational Development Pros

10.27.2015 - 10.27.2015 (HR & OD)

1 p.m. CST Online via Adobe Connect

Topic:

Let’s face it – if we are to fulfill our organizations’ expectations of us as true strategic partners, HR professionals need to have a solid grasp of financial statements and key ratios and how they apply in the credit union environment. While no one expects us to be Chief Financial Officers, we are expected to add value to discussions about the financial health and direction of our credit unions. Active participation in strategic decision-making, with an understanding of the impact those decisions have on key financial indicators, is imperative to becoming a true strategic business Partner. So, in order to succeed we need to ensure we have an informed grasp of relevant financial concepts.

Speaker:

Suzanne Weinstein, Chief Financial Officer for Orlando Federal Credit Union and Chair of the CUNA CFO Council.  Suzanne has tremendous respect for the strategic value that informed Human Resource professionals bring to any business discussion and is passionate about providing knowledge tools to increase our effectiveness in this area.
