For the past few months, the Creating Awareness Advisory Group, a cross-section of credit union leaders and marketers from across the industry, has embarked on an effort to define the credit union category at the highest level in order to clarify the industry in the minds of consumers. We believe this is how we win the hearts and minds of consumers, and get more members to use credit unions as their primary financial institutions.
Join us for an update on their progress, including the presentation of new consumer research that will guide the Creating Awareness Advisory Group as it works to raise the profile of the credit union category in financial services.

Douglas Kiker - Chief Strategic Communications Officer
Credit Union National Association (CUNA)
Douglas leads all of the association's external and internal communications functions and is responsible for the development and implementation of strategies that increase awareness of and support for credit unions and CUNA's advocacy objectives. He brings extensive experience in strategic communications with nearly two decades in journalism and corporate communications.
Graeme Trayner - Vice President
Greenberg Quinlan Rosner
Graeme runs GQR's brand and communications practice. Drawing on his background in politics, branding and opinion research, he has developed programs to advance corporate strategies and helped manage and frame issues. He has advised companies globally on how to build and manage reputation, and worked with industry associations and trade bodies on campaigns and initiatives.
