New CUNA HR & Organizational Development Council White Paper: The Diversity Advantage

The CUNA HR & Organizational Development Council has published a new white paper, “The Diversity Advantage: Credit Unions as Champions of Inclusive Leadership.”
 
Many credit unions recognize the need for diverse and inclusive staffing and leadership, but effective strategies to accomplish those aims are only now coming into focus. This white paper defines a three-pronged approach to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) and offers a strong business case for committing to DEI in member service, hiring, and leadership development. Credit union executives share:
  • their organizations’ approaches to DEI, 
  • what works and what doesn’t in recruiting and retaining a diverse workforce, including a broad range of business research, and 
  • how they ensure equitable and inclusive opportunities for advancement
