Julie Lind*

Chief Lending Officer - VP Retail Lending
WSECU
Olympia, WA

I have felt privileged to serve on the Executive Committee since 2019.  I have been a credit union lender for over 30 years.  I appreciate and benefit from the collaborative nature of Credit Unions and the CUNA Lending Council. I have a passion for helping people that want to help themselves, which is why Lending is my dream career.  As lenders, we have a unique opportunity to help our members achieve their personal goals through responsible and creative lending strategies.  Our industry has stepped up to deliver more diverse, equitable and inclusive lending policies, with a focus on leveraging data. I hope to continue contributing to the Lending Council, and our industry, in a meaningful way as we seek to impact even more lives through delivering financial services that support short and long-term financial success for our members.

Ethan Nelson*

SVP, Credit Administration
Oregon Community Credit Union
Eugene, OR

I am a civic volunteer and have been part of the CUNA Lending Council for nearly 20 years. I have served on the Executive Committee since 2019 while also continuing to serve on the Conference committee. This work not only helps make our industry stronger, but it feeds my passion for making a difference. We all face pressures to enhance our member and employee experience in this ever-changing environment. My goal is to work with industry colleagues and partners to share the insights we need to succeed. As credit unions, we can provide more than financial products/services; we can listen, care and act to support members regardless of their situation. This is what makes our industry special and it’s why I would be honored to continue serving on the Executive Committee.

Dennis Janikowski

Potlatch No 1 Financial CU
Senior Vice President of Lending
Lewiston, ID

I have spent the last 2 decades holding several positions within banking along with the last 8 years at Credit Unions.  As SVP of Lending at P1FCU I have overseen the Direct and Indirect consumer lending, mortgage lending, and business lending, along with creating a cash management program.  Throughout my professional career I have participated in nonprofit and foundation boards.  Of which have held multiple positions including Board Chair, Trustee and Executive Member.  I have led multiple organizational sub committees that organized and ran major events, golf tournaments, fair and rodeo, and week-long Hydroplane Races.   I have served on the conference committee this year and contributed to the Lending Council Discussion Board.  My time with the Council has been limited, but my work in Credit Union/Banking along with my 25+ years of Event and Non-Profit Board experience will bring value to the Council as a member of the Executive Committee.
