Overview

CUNA’s Financial Counseling Certification Program (FiCEP) was designed for staff in various positions at the credit union — from lending to collections to member service representatives — to better serve their members. This training teaches credit unions how to counsel members so they can budget better, save smartly, pay down debt and plan for the future. Obtaining the training and associated credentials allows your credit union to differentiate itself from other financial institutions and be more confident in helping members build a stronger financial future.

This eSchool includes electronic access to the 5th Edition FiCEP book and online practice activities. Attendees are required to read the book before attending/watching the webinars, as the webinars will discuss the application of the book content (best practices, common member situations, resources, practice quizzes, etc.)

To obtain the Certified Credit Union Financial Counselor (CCUFC) designation, one must pass the FiCEP exam.

This event is endorsed by CUNA Finance Council and CUNA Lending Council.

Who Should Attend

This eSchool is beneficial for credit union staff who work in the financial counseling, collections and loan departments, or any staff members committed to helping members gain control of their financial future.
