Krista Loew serves as an advisor to the members of State Employees’ Credit Union (SECU) of North Carolina. She is dedicated to accomplishing SECU’s mission of enhancing the value of the member’s lives and financial well-being. In her role as the Vice President of IRA and Retirement Planning, she develops and implements the financial counseling and retirement planning programs and oversees the IRA operations department. Krista is passionate about training SECU employees and educating members of SECU on how to build a strong financial foundation and how to plan for future financial goals. Krista publishes articles each month in SECU’s newsletters on topics relating to financial literacy, retirement planning, and investment planning. She believes in the mission of people helping people in her professional and personal life.
In her 16 years as a financial services professional, Krista has obtained the following certifications/licenses: Accredited Financial Counselor®, Certified Financial Planner™, Registered Investment Advisor, Retirement Income Certified Professional®, Accredited Trust and Financial Advisor, IRS certified volunteer for the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program and NC Life & Health Insurance License, NC Medicare Supplement/Long-Term Care Insurance License.
