Making the Business Case for Marketing

Marketing is all about selling an idea or a product. But are you skilled at “selling” your budget, ideas, and needs internally? Can you translate “marketing speak” into a language that compels others? You need to be able to do both to succeed.

Getting resources, dollars, and buy-in from senior leadership is its own skillset. We’ve brought in three CEOs – who grew up through marketing, finance or operations – to show us the way.

  • Why you need to know the financials, the key ratios, and strategic plan
