Mike Schenk has 35 years of experience in the financial services industry. In 1992 he joined the Credit Union National Association (CUNA)—the largest and most influential national trade association advocating for America's credit unions. There are nearly 5,500 credit unions nationwide, with more than 120 million memberships and nearly $1.5 trillion in assets
Mike currently is Deputy Chief Advocacy Officer for Policy Analysis and Chief Economist for CUNA and conducts economic research and supports CUNA's public relations and advocacy efforts. His analyses regularly appear in trade publications such as Credit Union Magazine. He also is a frequent contributor to the financial media.
Schenk serves on the board of Summit Credit Union in Madison, Wisconsin—a $3 billion financial cooperative with over 160,000 members. He serves as Board Chair and also has chaired the credit union's Asset-Liability Management and Risk Management/Internal Audit Committees.

Tracy Ashfield is President of Ashfield & Associates, a consulting and training firm that assists credit unions and CUSOs with mortgage lending strategy, development, policies, product design, training and strategic planning. Tracy also works with the NCUA and NASCUS to provide training and education on residential mortgage lending for examiners and regulators.
Since 2001, Tracy’s consulting work has benefited credit unions and their members. She has worked with the largest mortgage-granting credit unions to enhance their programs, and she has helped credit unions new to mortgage lending establish programs. Her recommendations have propelled her clients to become efficient, profitable real estate lenders.
Through customized training programs, Tracy also delivers hands-on, results-driven curriculums to help credit unions find lending opportunities, manage their operations and develop strategies to become their members’ trusted advisor for real estate lending products and services.
Tracy has more than 25 years of experience in Mortgage Banking management. Before forming Ashfield & Associates she held a variety of management positions in the credit union industry. She was the Senior Executive, Mortgage Development at CUNA Mutual; the Senior Vice President of Operations of CUNA Mortgage Corporation, and she also worked with CMG Mortgage Insurance Company.
In addition, Tracy worked as the Executive Vice President for Prime Alliance Solutions, Inc., one of the nation’s largest CUSOs committed to providing a family of solutions to help credit unions excel at real estate lending.

With over 30 years as a commercial lender, Dana brings a practical, hands on approach to commercial lending and senior management. In the capacity of senior commercial lender, he had the opportunity to be involved in all aspects of commercial lending. In 2003, Dana started Development Finance Training and Consulting, Inc. to offer commercial loan training and consulting services nationally. He has trained thousands of lenders across the country in the areas of portfolio management, risk management, ALLL management, credit analysis, loan underwriting, problem loan resolution, documentation, financial analysis and entrepreneurial assistance. Dana has provided programs for the Credit Union National Association, National Credit Union Administration, Small Business Administration, National Association of Development Organizations, Rural Development, USDA, New England College of Finance, credit union and bank associations and numerous individual credit unions and banks in addition to facilitating commercial credit training. Dana Sumner serves as a Board member for his local credit union and works closely with the World Council of Credit Unions to provide consulting services internationally.
