We care about your safety

CUNA is committed to providing a safe and healthy environment for all CUNA Marketing & Business Development Council Conference participants. We are continuing to monitor current conditions and will adhere to guidance from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) as well as other federal, state or local regulations. 

Los Angeles County has implemented mask and vaccine requirements for indoor venues, such as restaurants and hotels, to reduce the potential spread of the COVID-19 virus.

In accordance with those measures, attendees staying at the Westin Bonaventure Hotel must provide proof of vaccination and/or a negative covid result taken 72 hours prior to their check-in to receive a sticker allowing them to dine at indoor restaurants and to enter meeting spaces where food is served. 

Attendees do not to need be vaccinated to stay at the Westin Bonaventure Hotel or to attend events where food is not served. 

All conference attendees, including vendors and speakers, are expected to adhere to and abide by the safety precautions that are required in Los Angeles County. As part of your responsibilities, you should not attend the CUNA Marketing & Business Development Council Conference if you:

  • are experiencing, or within the 10 days prior, have experienced signs and symptoms of COVID-19 
  • believe that you may have been exposed to a confirmed or suspected case of COVID-19 
  • have been diagnosed with COVID-19 and are not yet cleared as non-contagious by the health care team responsible for your treatment 

If you develop any COVID-19 symptoms, please isolate in the comfort of your hotel room. 

Conference attendees should self-monitor for signs and symptoms of COVID-19 and are asked to contact CUNA at hello@cuna.coop if they test positive or experience symptoms of COVID-19 within 10 days after the CUNA Marketing & Business Development Council Conference.

Please note that by registering for this event the participant agrees to adhere to precautions and policies above and understand that they are knowingly and freely assuming all risks related to illness and infectious diseases, such as COVID-19, by attending this event. 

NOTE: CUNA and the Westin Bonaventure Hotel may need to change the provisions contained herein to adhere to subsequent CDC, federal, state or local guidance, or for other reasons. Should changes be made, a notification will be sent to all participants.
