As an Operations & Member Experience Council member, you're encouraged to nominate your peers for a variety of awards and recognition programs. Whether you're seeking to gain recognition for your own internal credit union stars, or have peers who deserve the spotlight, acknowledge the best and brightest with our awards programs.

Excellence in Operations & Member Experience Award

This award identifies, recognizes and honors credit unions that exemplify excellence in operations and member experience. It showcases innovative approaches to serving members, acknowledging their universal application to credit unions nationwide and sharing the solutions with our peers.

2021 winners included:

  • Best of Show: Workers CU in Littleton, MA, for their “Workers PlanIt: Design and technology to enhance personal service and advance member financial wellness” entry (assets > $500 Million) in the Branch Design category
  • Capital CU in Fargo, ND, for the Branch Design category for their “New Veterans Blvd. Branch” entry (assets > $500 Million)
  • Carter FCU in Shreveport, LA, won in the Contact Center / E-Support Operations category for their “2020 RDC Growth: How Carter CU Was Prepared to Maintain the Pandemic "Lift" to Volume” entry (assets > $500 Million)
  • UNFCU in Long Island City, NY, won in the Miscellaneous category for their “Digital Card Access” entry (assets > $500 Million)

Professional of the Year Award

This award honors one individual who exemplifies excellence in credit union operations and member experience. The award recognizes individuals who, in all aspects of their chosen profession, consistently excel for the benefit of their employer, and the advancement of ideals of the credit union movement.

2021 winner:

  • Amy Rodriguez, Chief Experience Officer, New Orleans Firemen's FCU, Metairie, LA

Rising Star Award

This award honors and recognizes up-and-coming talent in the ranks of credit union operations and member experience leadership. The recipient of this award will be an emerging operations and member experience professional whose body of work demonstrates ongoing exceptional growth and high potential for future impact.

Top Community Contributor Award

This award recognizes the value and expertise shared with peers through collaboration within the Councils Community networking platform. The value generated by asking and answering questions and sharing documents and ideas is one of our greatest member-driven benefits. The winner is identified based on quality and quantity of contributions.
