Laurie Winger is the executive vice president and chief financial and product officer for CUNA Mutual Group. Sher leads the financial management of the organization and oversees the company’s domestic product portfolio, along with the CUNA Caribbean business. Laurie joined CUNA Mutual Group in 1990 as a corporate accountant. She was named senior financial officer of Sales & Marketing in 2003. Laurie served for two years as the product executive, four years as vice president of Strategy & Market Insight, and three subsequent years as senior vice president of Planning and Business Finance.
Laurie earned a bachelor’s degree in Administration and Accounting from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. She received the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation in 1993 and the Fellow, Life Management Institute (FLMI) designation in 1995. Laurie serves on the Board of Directors for MEMBERS Development Company and CUNA Caribbean Insurance.
