Debbie Schorzman is the Human Resources Manager at Verity Credit Union. She joined the credit union in 2017 after many years leading teams, training, recruiting, and human resources management in the grocery/retail industry. Debbie has been involved with Verity's DEI efforts since joining the organization. In early 2020, she completed the Cornell Diversity and Inclusion for HR certificate program and has been working with a core group of leaders and consultants on Verity's strategic plan for equity and inclusion. Her recent focus has been the formation of a Cultural Equity Council and promoting Employee Resource Groups.
Debbie is very active in the CUNA HROD council. She enjoys participating in our conferences, contributing to online discussions, and serving on the awards committee.
