Volunteering on the CUNA MBD Council over the last five years continues to not only be a privilege, but a humbling experience. Starting as a volunteer on the Member Resource Committee, it has been my distinct pleasure to serve as its Chair and help produce much of the educational content, that we hope, has helped the industry. From white papers to leading panels and roundtables, developing marketing tool kits, and bringing in new thought leaders and creative resources, the sheer joy in connecting and learning from so many of you is what fuels my passion to remain on the Executive Committee.

For almost 20 years I have been part of the credit union movement! I oversee business development for one of the largest credit unions in the country. I have helped lead my team to adding over 4000 active SEG’s in 9 years.
Current active member of the council, I have led several webinars, participated in CUNA whitepapers, panels and presentations at the CUNA Marketing and Business Development Certification school along with the annual Marketing and BD Conference.
I plan to contribute innovative ideas and practices based on principles that work regardless of demographic. Business Development is about relationships. I would help others understand how to thrive in the “next normal” phase of a pandemic life. People helping people motivates and inspires me on a daily basis. I have been in marketing and advertising since 1995, working at traditional advertising agencies before joining the credit union movement in 2001. I’m a past CUNA Marketing and Business Development Executive Committee member from 2004-2006, a 2005 World Council of Credit Unions Young Professional, 2016 and 2018 Diamond Award Judge, multiple Diamond Award winner, sought-after conference speaker for leagues and associations all over North America and author of, “Aha Moments,” and, “More Aha Moments.” I also spent 14 years as a credit union marketing consultant, growing and building the brands for dozens of credit unions from across the country.
Now I’m back as SVP, Sales and Marketing at River Valley Credit Union, and I would love the privilege of serving on the CUNA Executive Committee again. I’m confident that my varied experience will help bring new ideas to our Council. I humbly request your vote for this important responsibility.

I am proud to say that I am a credit union marketer as I believe we are a group of innovative problemsolvers who thrive in a challenging industry.
For the past two years I have had the privilege of serving you on the Member Resources Committee through creating meaningful content. I have approached this role by drawing from my 10 years of experience with credit unions, which includes leading a business development department, a corporate branch, and a marketing department.
Our industry faces many challenges, and it is through the actions of our council that we can support our fellow marketers through uncertain times. As a marketer in a rural and low-income community, I know credit unions face even more challenges in reaching new members. My goal is to advocate for marketers who face similar challenges while also focusing on supporting innovative strategies that will allow us to remain competitive.
