Bud Hollenkamp
Bud Hollenkamp is a member of the Financial Services Practice and leader of the Colorado-Utah practice unit financial services team. He provides external and internal audit and consulting services for credit unions, single and multibank holding companies, individual chartered banks, and other financial service entities ranging in asset size from startup organizations and/or de novo banks to multibillion-dollar SEC and non-SEC institutions.
Bud’s more than 22 years of experience includes assisting clients with the implementation of new FASB regulatory guidance and issuances and changes in reporting requirements. In addition, he performs assurance services for SEC reporting entities, including SOX-404. His experience includes consulting on; implementation of Interagency Policy Statement on the ALLL and the new CECL standard, merger and acquisitions, and internal control design/best practices. He is active in various state and national banking associations and has participated in several presentations on accounting issues related to compensation plans, TDRs, and CECL.
