Mr. Richter is an Associate Partner in Aon’s Human Capital Solutions practice. Chris has 19 years of compensation consulting experience helping financial services clients in all areas of compensation. With a history in managing the firm’s compensation surveys, industry analysis activities, and market practice studies for the regional and community banking market, Chris has a deep understanding of market compensation practices and brings a wealth of expertise and experience to client engagements.
Chris advises clients on executive and staff compensation benchmarking, board compensation, annual and long-term incentive plan design, proxy disclosure, and regulatory compliance.
Prior to joining Aon, Chris worked as a senior consultant at an executive compensation consulting firm where he designed, implemented and advised on compensation programs in financial institutions, ranging from large commercial lenders to community credit unions. Chris co-developed the firm’s risk-assessment model to help clients document existing compensation arrangements and evaluate possible areas of risk.
