Gary Schuette is currently the President/CEO of Oregon State CU, which he assumed in early 2024. He has more than 19 years of experience in financial services including roles at VyStar CU (most recently Chief Financial Performance Officer), Local Government FCU, Capital One and PwC. Gary has worked in areas such as financial performance, corporate strategy (including MA), financial risk, business transformation and capital markets. He holds two Bachelor of Science Degrees from Virginia Tech. He is a CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) charter holder. He also holds the Certified Chief Executive Designation from the CUES CEO Institute.
