Katie Buvens

Katie Buvens is the Contact Center Operations Manager at Pelican State Credit Union. Her journey with Pelican began in 2008 as a part time teller during her college years. After graduating from Southeastern Louisiana University, she began working full time at the credit union and quickly fell in love with credit union mission. Throughout her career with Pelican, Katie has encompassed many roles including a teller, loan officer, and lending contact center supervisor and manager. She recently transitioned to the contact center operations manager overseeing the operations of 3sections including phones, digital and lending. She has passion for enhancing the member experience by optimizing member interactions.
