Katrina Gerenz

Ms. Gerenz is an Associate Partner within McLagan’s Banking Consulting practice. Katrina serves as an advisor to banking boards of directors and executives on director, executive, and staff compensation.

With 24 years of experience, Katrina’s goal is to design compensation programs that reflect each client's strategic objectives, pay philosophy and culture. She partners with credit unions and banks to provide education, thought leadership, and industry trends to leverage client’s time and resources.

Katrina advises clients on executive compensation, staff compensation, director compensation, commercial incentive plans, retail incentive plans, mortgage commission plans, salary grade design, short and long-term incentive plan design, proxy disclosure, regulatory compliance and risk assessment, employment agreements, compensation philosophy, and compensation trends.

Katrina earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of St. Thomas and a master’s degree in human resources and industrial relations from the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management. She is also a Certified Compensation Professional.
