Kerry Pakula is vice president of engagement and digital strategy at Credit Union Awareness LLC, a digital marketing startup creating consumer awareness and consideration for credit unions. Pakula came to Credit Union Awareness from the National Retail Federation (NRF) where she elevated the NRF brand portfolio, generated record-breaking customer acquisition and ecommerce event revenue and nearly doubled NRF’s Net Promotor Score in just over two years.
With over twenty years of experience in multi-unit, high-growth retail, Pakula specializes in connecting consumers with retail brands that express their personal style. Prior to NRF, Pakula lead a $200M integrated marketing strategy for the global retail and ecommerce division of Ashley Furniture. She also served as vice president of marketing for MyEyeDr, where she transformed the brand’s acquisition strategy, launching the company to its status as a top 10 optical retailer.
Early in her career, Pakula led the brand evolution for Hair Cuttery, the largest privately held salon chain in the United States. Pakula transformed the consumer experience through data-driven insights and marketing innovation, propelling growth from 600 locations to nearly 1,000 during her tenure. Pakula spearheaded many firsts for Hair Cuttery, including international expansion and an exclusive luxury haircare line.
