Mark Stafford believes software has the power to fundamentally improve everyday life. For 20 years, he has been focused on simplifying processes that are too complicated and labor-intensive. His current focus is streamlining closing mortgage, home equity, and other loans at Blend. In past lives, Mark has worked for Stripe helping customers easily and accurately generate 1099 forms, and at Microsoft he dramatically simplified the life of developers using multiple APIs. He is always interested in learning more about people and the challenges they face day-to-day.
